Our history
Built in the 1930s, The Potomac Gardens is a unique historic venue and a must-see destination. Located within sight of the Potomac River in tranquil Colton’s Point, MD, this beautiful old bar and dance hall also features a charming general store, filled with exquisite handmade gifts.
The St. Clements Island State Park Museum is just a short walk from The Potomac Gardens. Visitors to the museum can enjoy a quick trip aboard the museum’s water taxi to visit St. Clements Island where the first Maryland colonists from England landed in 1636.
